The Writer
My name is Mandy Roberson, but that doesn’t tell you a thing in the world about me. I am married to Hubby Dearest and have been for nearly nine years now, or at least this time around. (For more on that story, you will have to visit a different link!) We have three beautifully busy children who keep us on our toes, but our life would not be complete without them.
So this is me…wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, mentor… but above all that, I am a daughter to the King of Kings. I was blessed enough to be saved at an early age in life, grew up in a Christian home, attended a Christian school, and was almost always involved in a local church. I married young (the first time) and didn’t attend college until I was in my twenties. I did manage to attend and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, despite being a single mom for the first half of it and having a husband deployed for the second half. And yes, that also means we are a military family!
The Lord has been very faithful to teach me great lessons throughout my life as a Christian. I have been just as faithful at making that process harder on both of us than it ever should have been. Although I almost always eventually learn the lessons He has for me, they never come easily for me! While it is very much true that God made me who I am at the core, I keep Him plenty busy molding me into the vessel He wants me to be. I am a perfectionist by nature, but about as far from perfect as one can be. I am so blessed that my Heavenly Father is so very patient with me and continues to see fit to bless me immensely despite of my failures!
It is my passion, my heart’s desire, that the Lord use me, my failures, and our story for His Glory! I pray that your time here will be enlightening and encouraging, and will always point you to Him!

I am living proof of how the Lord can take a broken life and turn it into something beautiful. Although I am still very far from perfection, I am still a work of His art. My heart's prayer is that "Brokenness into Beauty" will be a source of inspiration and encouragement to all! There is hope, and there is healing on the horizon.
